TSXDEY16D2 Schneider Relay Module

TSXDEY16D2 is a discrete input module launched by Schneider Electric, belonging to the Modicon Premium automation platform. The module adopts a modular design, supports 24V (positive logic) input voltage, provides 16 isolated input channels, and has fast isolation input function (filtering range 0.1 to 7.5ms). It can be grouped into 8 channels and assigned application tasks. It supports automatic or program controlled reactivation of output after faults, and the input can be configured to control the RUN/STOP of PLC Mode, equipped with module diagnosis and process diagnosis functions (including sensor/actuator voltage check, terminal block presence check, short circuit and overload check, etc.), supports latch function to handle short pulses, provides event input processing mechanism (associated with event processing and can be triggered by interruption), the input terminal is equipped with programmable filtering function (implemented through fixed analog and digital filters), and the I/O module supports live plugging and unplugging. The wiring method includes 20 wire prefabricated cables, suitable for discrete signal acquisition scenarios in industrial automation systems.

Input type and number of channels: This module is a discrete input module that supports 24V (positive logic) input voltage and provides 16 isolated input channels.
Fast isolation input: It has the function of fast isolation input, with a filtering range of 0.1 to 7.5ms, and can trigger event tasks. Modules are divided into functional groups, with 8 channels per group, and each channel group can be assigned an application task.
Fault recovery function: If a fault causes an output to decrease, the output can be reactivated in the absence of other terminal faults. The reactivation command can be defined during configuration, executed automatically (such as every 10 seconds), or controlled through a program.
PLC operation mode control: An input can be configured to control the RUN/STOP mode of the PLC, with the command being valid for rising edge. The STOP command issued through input has higher priority than the switch to RUN command issued through terminal or network commands.
Diagnostic function:
Module diagnosis: Any exchange error signal that hinders the normal operation of the output module or fast input module will be detected and a signal notification will be given. Similarly, any internal module malfunction will also be detected and signaled.
Process diagnosis: including sensor/actuator voltage check, terminal block presence check, short circuit and overload check, etc.
Lock function: It can specially accept short pulses with a delay time less than the PLC scanning time.
Event input handling: Ensure that events are accepted and that they can be processed immediately (interrupt handling). These inputs are associated with event handling (EVTi) and defined in configuration mode. Event handling can be triggered by associating the rising edge (0 → 1) or falling edge (1 → 0) of the input.
Programmable input filtering: The input terminal has filtering function and can be configured for each channel. The input is filtered through a fixed analog filter and a digital filter. Analog filters can ensure a maximum insensitivity of 0.1ms to filter line interference; digital filters can be set within the range of 0.1 to 7.5ms, with an incremental step size of 0.5ms.
Live plugging and unplugging: I/O modules (including dedicated modules) can be plugged and unplugged with power, making it easy to maintain and replace.
Wiring method: Supports 20 wire prefabricated cable connections for easy on-site wiring.
