About GEEMBLUE system
The GEEMBLUE system generates a 0.8 % sodium hypochlorite solution
through the electrolysis of brine, consuming only water, salt and
electricity. By producing hypochlorite on-site and on-demand, the
system eliminates concerns associated with transportation and
storage of liquefied chlorine gas or commercial sodium hypochlorite
solutions, making it ideal for any application requiring
chlorination.
Electrolysis Reaction Equation
Reaction principle:
NaCl + H2O + DC → NaClO + H2
Electrode reaction:
Anode: 2Cl- - 2e- → Cl2
Cathode: 2H2O + 2e- → H2 + 2OH-
Solution reaction:
2NaOH + Cl2 → NaCl + NaClO + H2O
System Flow Chart
① Influent water passes through a water softener to reduce hardness
therefore reducing the scaling of electrodes and lengthening the
cleaning time
② Salt is dissolved by softened water into saturated brine in the
tank.
③ The saturated brine will be diluted into 2.5%-3%, then pass
through the electrolytic cell and finally be electrolyzed into 0.8%
solution of sodium hypochlorite.
④ The 0.8% hypochlorite solution flows into a storage tank.
Hydrogen, the only byproduct of the process, is safely vented to
the atmosphere.
⑤ The residual chlorine detector will monitor residual chlorine and
return feedback to the PLC center. According to preset standards,
the PLC Center will adjust the speed of the dosing pump.

Magneto Electrolyzer
Transparent electrolytic cell, organic glass material.
TA1 titanium electrode, the anode is covered by ruthenium-iridium
oxide fine nano coating which is up to 20 layers, ensure more than
5 years service life.
Bipolar electrode connection mode, reduced the heat yield, as well
greatly reduced the production of sodium hypochlorite salt
consumption and power consumption, plays a positive role in
reducing by-product.
Siemens Touch Screen
All running status are shown clearly and all parameters can be
adjusted directly by the touch screen.
Geemblue Rectifier
High frequency, stability and constant current rectifier.
Electrical conversion effciency over 90%
The rectifier have multiple protection for input over/under
voltage, and output overvoltage / overcurrent / short circuit
protection as well as overheat protection, ensure high reliability
and security.
Seko Metering Pump
Real-time detect residual chlorine in water, thus convert to 4-20mA
signal and feedback to PLC, for controling the dosing rate of
dosing pump.
