    1. Structure and Performance of Composite Geonet

    Bi-planer Geonet
    Bi-planer geonet is made of HDPE material with addition of carbon black as the anti-ultraviolet aging agent. It is of continuous reticular structure through extrusion by special machine head. Two intersected planers constitute a drainage channel of high longitudinal and transverse drainage capacity. Bi-planer geonet has relatively higher longitudinal and transverse tensile strength, which can withstand high tensile and compression stress.Tri-planer Geonet
    Tri-planer geonet is made of HDPE material, of which planers are extruded with special machine head. Three planers are arranged at specified space and angle to form a tri-planer spatial structure with drainage channel. The intermediate planer has higher rigidity, which forms a rectangular drainage channel. Three planers constituting the drainage net have higher longitudinal and transverse tensile and compression strength. The drainage channel as formed by three planers is free of any deformation, which can prevent geotextile from being seized by the geonet core, and ensures smooth drainage. Tri-planer geonet is divided into high-strength and high-drainage types according to its application purpose.

    2. Composite geonet applicable to landfillComposite geonet is applicable to the following sections of landfill:

    To prevent leakage to the lining system, and ensure the safety of landfill, leachate collection and removal system is to be provided with reliable drainage performance as required to discharge leachate collected by the lining system, and ensure saturation of lining leachate and the water head below the thickness of drainage layer. Conventional natural drainage materials, such as gravels may occupy a large landfill area when used for collection and drainage of leachate. Furthermore, gravels are difficult for stacking in case of drainage of leachate via the slope. On the contrary, composite geonet is not restricted by side slope gradient. Gravels used to the leachate collection and drainage layer may incur damages to the impermeable geomembrane. According to statistics, gravels as spread on the geomembrane constitute the underlying cause for damages to the geomembrane, accounting for over 70% of the total.

    Composite tri-planer geonet is provided with tri-planer spatial drainage structure as integrated with geotextile of high performance, which can maintain a permanent drainage performance under extremely high load. It is used to leachate collection and removal system, which can remove leachate from the impermeable membrane in time, keep the water head below the thickness of drainage materials, and minimize leakage to the geomembrane as incurred by extremely high water head.4. Landfill gas collection and removal layer and grounding drainage layerUltimate purpose for landfill to cover the enclosure system is to restrict rainfall from coming into the refuse as filled, and minimize production of leachate that may intrude into the water source. In the enclosure system, ground drainage layer aims to discharge water inside the covering soil to prevent it from accumulating on the impermeable layer. Accumulated water may produce excess pore water stress on the impermeable layer, which may result in sliding of plantation covering soil and damages to the enclosure slope. Conventionally, gravels are used to the ground drainage layer of the enclosure; it is difficult to stack gavel blinding on the slope of extremely high gradient; on the contrary, composite g
